[HanCinema's News] New Stills Released for "Recalled"

The production company behind "Recalled" has released new photos as the mystery thriller has continued its streak at the top of the South Korean box office to three days going into the weekend. The film's cumulative admissions total for its first three days is 19,357. The weak numbers have nevertheless been enough to dislodge "SEOBOK" from the top position.

"Recalled" drew much initial attention for exceptional performance with KOBIS reservations. But the movie has only shown strong numbers with movie theater websites. Third party websites that reserve movie tickets show the film with much lower reservations. The reason for the discrepancy is unknown. However, it does explain why "Recalled" has modest admissions numbers compared to what was implied by the earlier KOBIS rates.
"Recalled" has also been in the news for the unwelcome reason of various allegations surrounding Seo Yea-ji, suggesting she has engaged in unbecoming personal and professional conduct. To date, nothing the actress has been accused of amounts to being legally actionable. However, the actress herself may sue online commenters for defamation if these rumors negatively affect her contracts.
