[HanCinema's News] Over a Thousand Fans Greet Byeon Woo-seok at Taoyuan International Airport

On June 6th, actor Byeon Woo-seok landed in Taipei in Taiwan to begin his Asia Tour of fan meetings. But even his mere arrival in Taiwan inspired huge crowds in the country to greet him at the airport. A huge number of fans waited there since morning, to the point that Taoyuan International Airport had to assign twenty security guards as crowd control. Local journalists got wind of the incidence, and in their coverage estimated that at its height the crowd had over one thousand people in it.

Byeon Woo-seok was pleasant to these fans when we finally arrived, flashing them a heart sign with his hands upon seeing them. Byeon Woo-seok's actual Taipei fan meeting will be on June 8th. He will have a fan meeting in Bangkok in Thailand on June 15th, Manila in the Phillipines on June 22nd, Jakarta in Indonesia on June 28th, and Singapore on June 30th concluding the international tour in Seoul with fan meetings on July 6th and 7th.
The high interest in Byeon Woo-seok is due to his leading role in the time slip romance "Lovely Runner" which ended on May 28th. "Lovely Runner" has been particularly popular with certain fandoms both locally and abroad, despite ending with relatively modest domestic television ratings of only 5.762%. Byeon Woo-seok has yet to confirm his next acting project.
