[HanCinema's News] Park Byung-eun Donates $500,000 to National Cancer Center

On December 28th C-JeS Entertainment confirmed that actor Park Byung-eun, who is represented by the agency, had made a larger donation of approximately five hundred thousand dollars to the National Cancer Center in Goyang. The unconfirmed news had been reported by a South Korean entertainment news outlet earlier in the day. C-JeS Entertainment claimed that Park Byung-eun had made a personal decision in difficult times where many are afflicted with COVID-19.

The funds had been specifically earmarked for low-income cancer patients as well as for preventative cancer research. Park Byung-eun has most recently appeared in the television drama "Lost" as the husband of the main character played by Jeon Do-yeon. Other credits from 2020 include the films "SEOBOK" on TVing and "Kingdom: Ashin of the North" on Netflix. He is set to appear as the male lead in the elite divorce drama "Eve" on tvN next year.
