[HanCinema's News] Park Hae-mi's Name up for New Drama, The First Following Her Divorce

KBS2 has confirmed that they are considering Park Hae-mi for their upcoming drama "Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life". If confirmed, this would be Park Hae-mi's first drama since her divorce from her husband.

Park Hae-mi's husband was involved in a drunk driving accident in August of last year where he was at fault through speeding. Two persons died in the crash and they were known to the musical company which Park Hae-mi was at the time performing for. The divorce was finalized back in May. Park Hae-mi's husband is still serving a three year six month sentence for his crime.
"Beautiful Love, Wonderful Life" is a weekend drama from director Han Joon-seo and screenwriter Bae Yoo-mi. It's a romantic comedy that is expected to begin sometime in September. Expectations for the drama are high- Kim Mi-sook, Jung Won-joong, Na Young-hee, Seol In-ah, Oh Min-suk, Kwon Eun-bin, and Jo Yoon-hee among others have already been cast.
