[HanCinema's News] Park Seo-joon and Lee Ji-eun Talk About "Dream - 2020"

On March 30th, a press conference for the upcoming film "Dream - 2020" was held at the Seongsu Megabox in Seoul. In attendance were writer/director Lee Byeong-heon-I and actors Park Seo-joon, Lee Ji-eun, Kim Jong-soo, Ko Chang-seok, Lee Hyun-woo, Jung Seung-gil, Yang Hyung-min, Hong Wan-pyo, and Heo Joon-seok. The film stars Park Seo-joon as a scandal-ridden soccer player who has to coach a soccer team of homeless people to restore his reputation.

At the press conference, Park Seo-joon claimed to have been a fan of Lee Ji-eun, who tends to be better known for her work as a pop singer. So he was curious what she would be like on set as an actress. But her role in the film itself, as a low energy producing director covering the soccer team, was a grumbling one with a bad attitude. Park Seo-joon claimed that filming those scenes was so enjoyable that he was disappointed there weren't more of them.
Lee Ji-eun likewise claimed to have expectations for filming. She claimed that on set, writer/director Lee Byung-heon-I's often demanded abrupt, intense reaction shots, and that Park Seo-joon was excellent and accepting this direction and performing accordingly. Examing Park Seo-joon's work closely, Lee Ji-eun claimed to be envious of his talent, and described seeing Park Seo-joon's work up close was good motivation. "Dream - 2020" will be released in South Korean theaters on April 26th.
