Shortly ahead of the premiere of the short drama "O'PENing 2024 - My Son Is Dead" on October 8th, new details have finally emerged about the character which will be played by Park Sung-hoon, who had previously only been confirmed as a special appearance. The name of his character is Han Jae-woo, and he plays a top actor, much like the lead Tae-hwan played by Jang Seung-jo. The film company they work for gets on Tae-hwan's case for having a bad attitude, unlike Jae-woo.

To make matters worse, Jae-woo also has harsh words. The role is short and to the point, and serves as a reminder for the reason behind Park Sung-hoon's rising profile when only a couple of years ago he, too, had his biggest screen credits in short drama specials. Park Sung-hoon last played the second lead in "Queen of Tears" earlier this year. He will next appear in "Squid Game - Season 2" in a role that has yet to be disclosed.
