[HanCinema's News] "Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs" Breaks the Seven Hundred Thousand Viewer Mark
By William Schwartz | Published on
After 22 days of release "Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs" has broken 700,000 admissions. This follows the movie hitting 300,000 viewers after 6 days, 400,000 viewers after 9 days, 500,000 viewers after 11 days, and 600,000 viewers after 15 days.

The rate at which "Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs" acquires new admissions has slowed significantly, but the movie has shown surprising resilience at the domestic box office in the face of strong competition from major blockbusters. Other animated movies released over the last few weeks have overtaken the domestically produced film on the opening weekend, only to experience significant drop-off soon afterwards. "My Tyrano: Together, Forever" is the latest to follow this trend.
"Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs" still has enough domestic presence at the local box office that the movie has not yet been released on On Demand services. However, the distribution company may also be concerned about possible piracy, as the English dubbed version has not yet been released outside of South Korea.
