On April 1st, Lee Do-hyun's agency Yuehua Entertainment as well as Lim Ji-yeon's agency Artist Company confirmed that the the two actors are now in a romantic relationship. Both agencies stressed that the couple are treading carefully, the relationship being a natural progression of their working relationship, and nothing too serious just yet. The official comment follows a report claiming that after the filming of "The Glory" the two met at a drama workshop and started dating.

The news is a bit surprising for a few reasons. First, Lee Do-hyun and Lim Ji-yeon had very little screentime together on "The Glory" earlier this year. Lee Do-hyun was the male lead, while Lim Ji-yeon played the villain. There is also a significant age gap between the two. Lee Do-hyun is twenty-seven years old, while Lim Ji-yeon is thirty-two years old. Both are significantly younger than Song Hye-kyo, the leading lady of "The Glory" at forty-one years old.
In the internal continuity of "The Glory" all three actors are implied to be the same age, with the birthdate of Lim Ji-yeon's character being given as 1987. Lee Do-hyun will next appear in "The Good Bad Mother" on JTBC on April 26th in the leading role, as the son of the title character. Lim Ji-yeon will next appear in "The Killing Vote" on SBS in a leading role, the future airdate of this television drama as yet unknown.
