The beauty makeup brand LUNA recently hired Seo Yea-ji as their latest model. The move follows Seo Yea-ji's appearance on the popular drama "It's Okay to Not Be Okay", which compensated for weak television ratings with a distinctive visual look that enjoyed much exposure on social media. Seo Yea-ji in particular exemplified this trend, as her character wore a wide variety of noteworthy outfits.

A spokesperson for LUNA explained that Seo Yea-ji was selected due to her ability to exude distinctive charm, deep self-esteem, and powerful expression. These were all qualities which LUNA considers people to associate with Seo Yea-ji as a brand. The selection of Seo Yea-ji is intended to coincide with LUNA's current PRO BEAUTY CURATOR initiative that focuses on using makeup to showcase inner strength. The initiative has a worldwide aim, with a particular focus on the Chinese market.
