[HanCinema's News] Song Hye-kyo Cancels Return Event Out of Respect for Sulli

Song Hye-kyo has canceled a photocall event for the Han Jewelry brand that was scheduled for October 17th. The event was to be her first public one in South Korea since her high-profile divorce from actor Song Joong-ki four months ago.

The news was confirmed by Han Jewelry, which vaguely blamed the change on an unexpected situation. A person close to Song Hye-kyo has said that shock and solidarity in regards to the death of Sulli was the main factor behind canceling an event that was expected to be reasonably major news.
Song Hye-kyo and Song Joong-ki divorced back in July, their romance and eventual marriage resulting from their first meeting on the set of the popular drama "Descendants of the Sun" back in 2015. Since that time Song Hye-kyo has largely been spending her time abroad.
