[HanCinema's News] Special Poster Released for "Alchemy of Souls"

Following the premiere of its twelfth episode, "Alchemy of Souls" released a special poster commemorating that episode's most significant event. In the poster, the two meet on a brudge illuminated by moonlight facing one another. As in the episode, this moment signifies a time when they do not perceive each other as shades of employer and employee, or master and pupil, but rather as man and woman. Or at least, that is how viewers have tended to perceive the moment.

In the actual continuity of the show, there is also the emphasis on how the lead characters, played by Lee Jae-wook and Jung So-min, must come up with a way to defeat a magical menace so as to protect the world. "Alchemy of Souls" blends several genres in this manner, blending action, comedy, romance, fantasy and a semi-historical setting despite its wholly fictional worldbuilding. "Alchemy of Souls" had domestic ratings of 7.091% in its twelfth episode which aired on July 24th.
