The family drama "The Real Has Come!" recently confirmed that Sung Hyuk would be joining the cast. He will take on the role of Yeon Sang-hoon, who works in the same company as Ji-myeong, the older sister of the lead character played by Choi Ja-hye. Purportedly, she is his senior employee and mentor, and he has long had a crush on her. However, Ji-myeong is married to Hyeon-woo, played by Kim Sa-kwon- though he is trying to divorce her.

Hyeon-woo is motivated by his disappointment in their marriage, feeing that Ji-meong has neglected her family despite his personal willingness to make sacrifices for their love, like living with her family. The situation is further complicated by Ji-myeong having become pregnant. The addition of a new character into this dynamic is expected to further amplify the drama about whether or not the pair should stay together.
Sung Hyuk has minor, named appearances in a wide variety of South Korean television shows and films. His last appearance for a drama was "Connect" in 2022 and "A Birth" that same year. "The Real Has Come!" had ratings of 19.1% in its thirteenth episode, which premiered on South Korean television on May 6th.
