[HanCinema's News] "The Glory" to Return on March 10th

On January 18th, Netflix confirmed that part 2 of "The Glory" starring Song Hye-kyo would begin airing worldwide on the streaming platform this coming March 10th. Like the first part of the revenge drama, the second part will have eight episodes. In a statement released alongside the announcement, screenwriter Kim Eun-sook claimed that no one who had seen the first part would want to miss the second part. Director Ahn Gil-ho echoed this confidence, calling the story dynamic.

The first part of "The Glory" was released on December 30th. According to figures release by Netflix, through January 15th it has earned 14.8 million viewed hours from Netflix subscribers worldwide. "The Glory" is currently the second most popular non-English language serial drama on Netflix, and the seventh most popular if English titles are included. The only other South Korean title in the Netflix non-English top 10 is "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" in seventh place.
