On April 30th, the international box office firm Comescore revealed that "The Roundup: Punishment" had earned 24.59 million dollars in revenue over the preceding weekend. This figure takes into account not only the South Korean box office, but also the box office in Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Taiwan, and Vietnam, as the film has now been released in all six territories. Additionally, "The Roundup: Punishment" outperformed all other films worldwide in this opening weekend.

Second place was the new American tennis film Challengers with 24.01 million dollars and third place was the now month old blockbuster Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire with 22.10 million dollars. Due to currency valuation, it's quite rare for non-American films to top this metric, and the news was even noted in publications such as Variety. "The Roundup: Punishment" was released on April 24th and has already earned over five million admissions domestically.
