[HanCinema's News] "The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" Leads in Early Reservations

According to figures released by the Korean Film Council, "The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" is the current favorite at the South Korean box office via early reservations. As of this writing, "The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" holds forty percent of all reservations as it heads into its first day of official availability. This compares to 12.4% to "The Roundup" which is the current box office leader as well as the first South Korean film to hit ten million theatrical admissions since the start of COVID-19.

The news isn't entirely good for South Korean film at large. The second place overall leader as of this writing is the new Top Gun movie from Hollywood, with 19.1% of reservations despite that movie only being available in South Korea next week starting on June 22nd. "The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" is the sequel to "The Witch : Part 1. The Subversion" from 2018 which only had box office admissions over the three million viewer mark, despite its long-term significance.
