According to figures released by the Korean Film Council on June 16th, "The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" is the best-performing film at the South Korean box office. The supernatural action film about modern-day witches with extraordinary psychic powers registered 266,526 admissions in its first day of availability. This is over twice what "The Witch : Part 1. Subversion" earned back in 2018, with 121,990 admissions.

"The Roundup" was second place with 90,287 admissions. The cop action film passed the ten million viewer mark on June 11th and now seems certain to pass the eleven million viewer mark as well, currently standing at 10.82 million admissions. However, "The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" is now certain to outperform "The Roundup" by a significant margin in the near term, and may well attempt a record run of its own based on these early numbers.
