[HanCinema's News] "The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" Leads in Second Day at Box Office

According to figures released by the Korean Film Council on June 17th, "The Witch : Part 2. The Other One" has continued its lead at the South Korean box office for a second straight day. The film earned 177,964 admissions, and now sits at a cumulative total of 448,845 admissions. The supernatural action film is on pace for a strong weekend, and still has twice the box office returns of its nearest competitor "The Roundup" in second place.

"The Roundup" had 85,575 admissionsn for a cumulative total of 10,909,336 admissions. While the police action film will likely break the eleven million viewer mark, it appears to have finally run out of momentum. "Broker" was third place with 31,410 admissions for a cumulative total of 949,041 admissions as it inches toward the one million viewer mark. No other films, foreign or domestic, had more than twenty thousand admissions on June 16th.
