The new Disney+ drama "Vigilante" was the most watched program on the streaming platform this past November 9th according to data from FlixPatrol. "Vigilante" is a new drama, so this wasn't too surprising. As is expected for Disney+'s branding in South Korea, the next three most popular shows, "The Worst of Evil" and "Moving" and "Big Bet" are all serious, cerebral action shows. The second season of Loki was far behind in fifth place, despite its worldwide popularity.

But the bigger surprise about "Vigilante" is that the drama has outperformed not just other Disney+ content, but all streaming content in the country, according to a survey released by Kino Lights for November 10th. On the combined chart, it was ahead of the Netflix series "Daily Dose of Sunshine" in second place and the feature film "Ransomed" in third place. No other Disney+ shows or films were in the top 10.
Disney+ content in South Korea is quited varied. The most popular movie there is "The Roundup: No Way Out" and they also have the streaming rights to "Reply 1988" among other programming. "Vigilante" is based on the Naver webtoon of the same title that was serialized from 2018 to 2020. This webtoon and its translations have been viewed 370 million times worldwide. The third episode out of a total of eight will be released this coming Wednesday.
