[HanCinema's News] Yoon Jin-yi Gives Birth to a Daughter

On April 2nd a representative for actress Yoon Jin-yi confirmed that the actress gave birth to a daughter this past March 31st. The statement made it clear that Yoon Jin-yi as well as her daughter are healthy, and thanked anyone who was offering congratulations and well wishes for Yoon Jin-yi at this time. The news comes as a surprise- though Yoon Jin-yi's marriage had been announced this past October 22nd, no mention was made at that time of the actress being pregnant.

Yoon Jin-yi made her screen debut in "A Gentleman's Dignity" back in 2012 in a named role ensemble role. Her screen credits have been scattered since then, with Yoon Jin-yi's most recent role being in "Young Lady and Gentleman" last year as the younger sister of the lead character played by Ji Hyun-woo. Yoon Jin-yi has no confirmed upcoming projects, and it is not yet known when or if she will return to screen acting.
