Shin Hyun-been has been cast for the original play "Turn Back and Leave".
"Turn Back and Leave" is an original by Lee Man-hee-I highlighting the existence of humanity through a man and a woman. It successfully ended its premier in the year 1996 and was awarded the Play of the Year and Best Actor and Actress. It was made into the movie "A Promise" and "Lovers" in 1998 and 2006.
Shin Hyun-been takes on the role of Chae Hee-joo who is a part of a very sad and mellow romance.
Debuting in theater for the first time, Shin Hyun-been said, "I fell for the movie the more I read it and although I have no experience in play I am confident to challenge myself in it".
The production said, "We have preferred someone in their 30s so far but Shin Hyun-been's image was favorable and we thought she was right for the job".
Shin Hyun-been debuted with the 2010 movie "He's on Duty" and has portrayed a quiet and elegant image so far.
"Turn Back and Leave" will start in Goyang City in October and move around from November onwards.
