There will be a flurry of dramas that were not organized even after pre-production. They are "Serendipity's Embrace", "Bad Memory Eraser" and "Black Out".

tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama "Serendipity's Embrace" which will premiere on the 22nd, is a romance that summons memories of first love that 'accidentally' meets a dull and clumsy first love in 10 years and becomes entangled like fate and falls in love again.

In September 2022, news of the female protagonist Kim So-hyun's confirmed appearance was reported, and the filming was completed in early 2023. After about a year and a half, tvN confirmed the release date.

What is a blessing in disguise is that in the meantime, the male protagonist, Chae Jong-hyeop, gained explosive popularity in Japan and became 'Hyeop-sama'. Rather, as the expectation has grown, attention focuses on whether "Serendipity's Embrace" can be a box office hit.

The same goes for MBN's new Friday-Saturday mini-series "Bad Memory Eraser", which will premiere on August 2nd. The movie is a romance between a man whose life has changed with a memory eraser and a woman who has become his first love.

This is singer-actor Kim Jae-joong's return to the drama after seven years, but it was almost his return to drama in four years. In July 2021, it was announced that he was considering casting, and it was expected to be his first drama appearance since he was discharged from the military.

It started shooting its first time in March 2022 and finished shooting early, but it drifted after more than two years without being able to be organized, and eventually ended up being released on MBN.

Another work is the new Friday-Saturday drama "Black Out" which will premiere on MBC on August 16th. "Black Out" is a backtracking crime thriller about a young man who became a murder convict after being named the culprit of a mysterious murder case in which his body has not been found, revealing the truth of the day 10 years later.

"Black Out" was filmed from the second half of 2021 to June 2022. It took about two and a half years to set the date, so it finally saw the light after a long wait.

In particular, the main character Byun Yo-han met with viewers in two dramas in a row following "Uncle Sam-sik" as the release date of "Black Out" was set.

As the COVID-19 period has delayed things and works that unintentionally had to wait for a long time are being released, attention is being paid to whether it will be worth the wait.
