The production team of MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "When the Phone Rings" released a still cut of Heo Nam-jun. Heo Nam-jun, who portrays different characters in his color in each drama, plays a popular YouTuber and a psychiatrist at the same time.

"When the Phone Rings" is a secret romance thriller between a couple in their third year of marriage, which begins with a threatening phone call. It is based on a popular web novel with the same title on Kakao Page, and Kim Ji-woon-II, who wrote the dramas "Melancholia" and "Doctor John", and Park Sang-woo-I, who showed sensational directing skills in "The Forbidden Marriage", joined hands.

Heo Nam-jun plays Ji Sang-woo, a psychiatrist who has everything from appearance to friendly personality and charm in the drama. Sang-woo hovers around Hong Hee-joo (Chae Soo-bin), who attended sign language service with him in college, causing jealousy and alertness of her husband Baek Sa-eon (Yoo Yeon-seok).

Sang-woo, who is also a mystery-specialized personal broadcast creator with 200,000 subscribers, approaches a certain case he wanted to dig into with announcer Na Yoo-ri (Jang Gyuri) whom he met on a broadcast program.

Among them, the stills released show Heo Nam-jun, who Ji Sang-woo completely possesses. He gives a warm look to someone and is immersed in filming with the camera and a microphone in front of him. Expectations are high on what role he will play as a doctor and broadcast creator.

"When the Phone Rings" will premiere in November.
