"Law and The City", with its star-studded cast-Lee Jong-suk, Mun Ka-young, Kang You-seok, Ryu Hye-young, and Im Sung-jae - has received an undeniable amount of attention from the global community from the beginning.
Following the story of five associate lawyers - Joo-hyeong, Hee-ji, Chang-won, Moon-jeong, and Sang-gi-who commute daily to the law firm located in the Seocho-dong legal district, "Law and The City" has been praised by both local and global fans as the "realistically well-made stories of lawyers", portrayed by the perfectly reliable cast.

According to the global OTT platform Rakuten Viki, "Law and The City" has entered the TOP 5 in 144 regions, including the U.S., Brazil, France, UAE, and India. The show also topped the weekly charts in the MENA region and India, while placing second in the Americas, Europe, and Oceania.
On U-NEXT, one of the largest Japanese OTT platforms, "Law and The City" ranked 2nd in the platform's drama ranking and 6th in the overall ranking. Achieving the best first-week result in 2025, "Law and The City" has successfully ignited its popularity among Japanese fans.

"Law and The City" continues the K-drama syndrome in Taiwan. On iQIYI, a global OTT streaming platform, the show ranked 1st and 7th in the platform's K-drama and main categories, respectively. The show has also entered 3rd and 5th in friDay Video's drama and main categories, inspiring the Taiwanese fandom with its strong narrative.
On tvN Asia, the largest K-drama channel in Southeast Asia, "Law and The City" topped the viewership in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines, being the CJ ENM drama with the best viewership record in 2025.
The show's local viewership echoes all the worldwide accomplishments. After its premiere on July 5th, "Law and The City" is reigning in the prime-time drama slot with the highest average household viewership of 5.1%, according to Nielsen Korea.
