Hong Eun-hee's makeup staff was recently tested positive for COVID-19, the agency Namoo Actors said on the 13th. "Since then, Hong Eun-hee, other confirmed staff and employees who had overlapped or went into contact with the confirmed COVID-19 case, tested negative".
Hong Eun-hee and some staff members were classified as close contacts of the COVID-19 confirmed case and began self-isolation for two weeks. "We're going to temporarily suspend the filming of the drama", Namu Actors said. "We're sorry for the concern".
Currently, Hong Eun-hee is starring as Lee Gwang-nam, the first daughter of Lee Cheol-soo (Yoon Joo-sang) in the KBS2 drama "Revolutionary Sisters".
KBS also said, "One of the "Revolutionary Sisters" actors had close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 person", adding, "The production team temporarily stopped filming right after recognizing the facts for the safety of all the staff and actors".
Accordingly, "Revolutionary Sisters" will be canceled on the 17th and 18th of this month due to Hong Eun-hee's absence from self-isolation. Instead, it decided to organize a special broadcast containing contents until the tenth episode.
