Director Hong Sang-soo and actress Kim Min-hee left Korea on Wednesday to take a film that closely echoes their own whirlwind romance to the Berlin International Film Festival.

"On the Beach at Night Alone" is to be screened in the official competition on Thursday.
It revolves around a top actress who falls in love with a married director and goes on a trip alone after the scandal breaks.
