[Hot Takes from the Noonas] Sung Hoon and Song Ji-eun have a one-night stand in "My Secret Romance"

The romantic comedy is set to air in April, and while it starts with a titillating premise, just how smutty could it be?

In "My Secret Romance", Sung Hoon plays the frosty chaebol to Song Ji-eun's nerdy nutritionist who has never been kissed. They have a one-night stand believing that they will never cross paths again. Fortunately for us, they do, three years later.

Sadly, in my previous drama experiences of the one-night stand, the act that brought the couple together was never repeated again. The couples were chastened by their intimate encounter rather than tempted to indulge again.

I am hoping that "My Secret Romance" will be the one that bucks this unrealistic trend, and this optimism is based largely on the PD, Kang Cheol-woo who was behind "Something About 1% - 2016". The cable drama featured a couple that kissed like adults, and acknowledged their sexual attraction towards each other - two rarities in dramas.

The teaser for "My Secret Romance", which can be seen below, promises some heat between the leads, and asks if a one-night stand will become two. Here's hoping that's not a rhetorical question.
