"True Beauty" actor Hwang In-youp is a likely candidate for the Netflix original drama "The Sound of Magic".

A media reported previously that Hwang In-youp was offered a role in "The Sound of Magic", based on an original webtoon.

"The Sound of Magic" is about a girl who loses her dreams to become a magician but realizing her dream once again through an encounter with a magician. It was also produced as a play.

Hwang In-youp started acting in the 2018 webdrama "WHY: The Real Reason You Got Dumped". He then continued to star in dramas such as "The Tale of Nokdu", "18 Again" and more. He's currently starring in "True Beauty" as a character who looks cold on the outside but warm on the inside.

Meanwhile, "The Sound of Magic" is considering Ji Chang-wook as the magician named Lee.
