Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin's Public Affection

The celebrity couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin, one of the entertainment industry's most representative star couples, drew attention with their affectionate display at the Blue Dragon Film Awards.

At the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards, held on the 19th at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin celebrated as they won Best Actor, Best Actress, and the Popularity Award. It is the first time in the 46-year history of the awards that a married couple has won both leading actor and actress awards in the same year.

Throughout the ceremony, the couple did not hide their affection for each other. Although they walked the red carpet separately, they sat next to each other inside the venue and chatted warmly.

When Hyun Bin first won Best Actor for his film "Harbin", Son Ye-jin, who was seated beside him, stood up and applauded. After greeting those around him, Hyun Bin hugged Son Ye-jin tightly. The two embraced for about four seconds, patting each other on the back. Actor Park Jung-min, who approached to congratulate Hyun Bin, lightly tapped him when the hug lasted a bit too long.

When Hyun Bin said in his acceptance speech, "To my wife Ye-jin, who gives me so much strength just by existing, and to our son, I love you so much", the camera showed Son Ye-jin sending him a finger-heart gesture.

Later, when Son Ye-jin was announced as the Best Actress winner for "No Other Choice", the couple embraced once again. Son Ye-jin said, "I share the joy of this award with the two men I love so much, Kim Tae-pyung (Hyun Bin's real name) and our baby, Kim Woo-jin".

Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin also went on stage together to receive the Popularity Award. Host Lee Je-hoon remarked, "I've seen many award shows, but it's my first time seeing a married couple standing together on stage like this. You look perfect together". Son Ye-jin then stepped closer to Hyun Bin and made a V sign with her fingers, drawing cheers from the audience.

Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin first developed a connection while starring together in the tvN drama "Crash Landing on You", going from friends to lovers. They married in 2022 and have one son together.
