"Oh My Ghost Clients" is a comic fantasy drama about a ghost-seeing labor attorney's solution to labor problems. Cha Hak-yeon plays Go Gyeon-woo, a reporter-turned-video creator who combines slickness and a wild sense of humor in the drama. He is interested in views rather than meaning, but he changes his mind while working with No Moo-jin (Jung Kyung-ho) and Na Hee-joo (Seol In-ah).
Cha Hak-yeon, who teamed up with seniors Jung Kyung-ho and Seol In-ah, did not spare his gratitude. "Kyung-ho called me after the drama, saying, 'You played a big role in this drama'," said Cha Hak-yeon, who called him "the No. 1 senior". "His words were so heartwarming".
He is also a leader of the idol group VIXX and has been an acting idol for 10 years. His eyes sparkled when he talked about singing. Cha Hak-yeon also mentioned the Netflix animated film "K-Pop Demon Hunters", which drew attention both at home and abroad. This is because fans responded that the stage of 'your idol' of the male idol "Lion Boys" in the drama is reminiscent of VIXX's 'Do Won-kyung'.
Cha Hak-yeon said, "I felt so good. I met Leo at the hair salon this morning and he talked about it. I also talked about it with the members", adding, "Thank you for watching "K-Pop Demon Hunters" and reminding me of VIXX".
He added, "I also thought of it right away because we did a lot of concepts wearing hanbok on the oriental stage".
Like the idol in "K-Pop Demon Hunters", when will we see VIXX's activities again? Cha Hak-yeon replied, "Right now, rather than having an exact plan, I'm talking a lot with the members about when it will be appropriate".
He also looked back on his 10 years as an actor, not as a singer. "I want to make a house out of bricks instead of clay and build a solid house one by one. The reason I can act so happily on the set is because I have these stairs that I have walked up", he said. "The stability and sturdiness of this process are my great support. It makes me perform what I like without worrying. I want to have that stability in the future".
MBC's Friday-Saturday drama "Oh My Ghost Clients" ended with the tenth episode on the 28th of last month.
