On the 28th, actress Park Bo-young met with Sports Today at a café in Jongno-gu, Seoul, for an interview about the "Gold Land".

"Gold Land" is a survival thriller centered on greed and betrayal, following a protagonist who accidentally comes into possession of smuggled gold bars and becomes caught in a deadly struggle over them. Park Bo-young plays Kim Hee-joo, a customs officer who dreams of an ordinary life but gradually becomes consumed by greater desires after getting entangled in the gold smuggling case.

During the interview, she also spoke about her much-talked-about acceptance speech at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards. Park won Best Actress in the TV category for "Our Unwritten Seoul", delivering a nearly six-minute speech that deeply resonated with viewers.

She laughed, saying, "My family sent me videos of the speech, and I realized I talked for a really long time. I was honestly surprised. Everything felt overwhelming at the time. The nominees were all so incredible. It may sound cliché, but I already felt proud just to be nominated".

She continued, "Lately, I've been thinking and talking a lot about these feelings. I didn't want to fall behind or feel ashamed. In this industry, whether we realize it or not, we're constantly competing through our projects, and at some point I started wondering, 'How long do we have to keep doing this?' That's when the core message of "Our Unwritten Seoul" came back to me. It resonated with me deeply from the moment I first read it".

She added, "I realized I wasn't the only one who felt that other people's lives looked better than my own. Even after choosing a project, I often lived with fear and regret, thinking, 'Why did I agree to do this?' It was exhausting. But then I heard that even senior actors I deeply respect struggle with the same worries. It was shocking, but also incredibly comforting".

Meanwhile, "Gold Land" concluded on the 27th with the release of episodes 9 and 10.
