Jung Sung-il-I said, "Thank you for watching the drama with interest. In detail, I was surprised because the character is five years younger than my actual age. I also received a lot of criticism from people around me".

"I didn't care much about my age. I didn't try to look young, I just dressed up and acted in the way I usually wear", he said. "I tried to give the character a sense of immersion in the beginning, and I tried to show the process of change as the drama unfolded".

In the drama, Jung Sung-il-I plays the role of Han Do, a producer from the drama bureau who joined the "Trigger" team of producer Oh So-ryong (Kim Hye-soo).

Han Do's image is a typical urban man who seems to be very rough even from his appearance and seems to know only himself. He seems to be living in his own world with a unique side, but he makes unexpectedly objective and cool-headed judgments. In other words, it expresses a modern MZ office worker whose individualism surrounds his entire body.

Jung Sung-il-I said, "There were times when I was a little shaken while acting. As a character I had never tried before, I had that kind of moment, but Hye-soo thanked me for balancing it out". He also praised Kim Hye-soo, saying, "She's a cool person".

About Joo Jong-hyuk, he said, "He is such a good actor. I learned a lot from him. I still see him often. I contacted him every day and he was always with me on set".

Jung Sung-il-I said that if "Trigger" Season 2 is produced, he would like to work with them again.

"Trigger" is a work that opened the Disney+ lineup this year. It tells the story of horrible investigative journalists who try to cover up bad guys' mistakes in a flower-like world. The drama wrapped up its 12-episode series by releasing the last two on Wednesday.

Jung Sung-il-I, who debuted with the movie "H" in 2002, is a veteran actor with 23 years of experience. He mainly worked in theater and musical fields but started appearing in dramas from 2020 onwards. He has raised awareness both domestically and internationally by playing the role of Ha Do-yeong in the original Netflix series "The Glory" in 2022.

Jung Sung-il-I will visit viewers with the original Disney Plus series "Made in Korea", which is scheduled to be released this year.
