Um Tae-goo interviewed after the end of JTBC's Wednesday-Thursday drama "My Sweet Mobster" at a cafe in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 5th.

"My Sweet Mobster" is a romantic drama full of twists and turns between Ji-hwan, who has ended his dark past, and Eun-ha, who plays with children. Um Tae-goo took on his first romantic comedy genre as mob boss Seo Ji-hwan in the drama.

Um Tae-goo has become a lovable character who is completely different from his rough appearance in many dramas and has been loved by viewers. "I watched it well. I was very curious. I was so nervous when I first performed on the show. I always watched it twice", Um Tae-goo said. "It was my first time in a rom-com, so it was hard to pick a point, but I learned a lot from watching the drama".

"The script itself was so harmless and cute, and even if there was a villain in it, it didn't seem evil. It was a drama where each character looked lovely", he said. "I think there are some points where you can laugh and laugh without thinking. That's why the drama was so likeable".

"First of all, I felt good because my mom liked it a lot. I think she liked it because it showed bright acting and I appeared on TV a lot", Um Tae-goo said. "I don't think my brother shows (director Eom Tae-hwa) much".

"I met my sister-in-law and brother the day before yesterday, and they both showed me pictures of each other watching "My Sweet Mobster".. My sister-in-law was crying, and my brother was looking elsewhere with a frown", he added, drawing laughter.
