On the 7th, Kim Jae-won-III interviewed at a café in Jongno-gu, Seoul, following the conclusion of the tvN and TVING original drama "Yumi's Cells - Season 3".

"Yumi's Cells - Season 3" is a cell-stimulating, relatable romance that depicts the story of Yumi, now a star writer, whose peaceful daily life is shaken when an unexpected person appears and she falls in love again. Kim Jae-won-III played Soon-rok, Yumi's (Kim Go-eun) final love interest.

Soon-rok, in particular, drew significant attention even before the show aired, as he is a key character appearing after Gu Woong (Ahn Bo-hyun in "Yumi's Cells") and Bobby (played by Park Jinyoung in "Yumi's Cells - Season 2").

Regarding the pressure of joining the series, Kim Jae-won-III said, "Rather than worrying about whether Season 3 would receive as much love as Seasons 1 and 2, which were so successful, I was more concerned about whether I could do justice to my role after my seniors did such an amazing job".

He added, "I approached it with the mindset of giving not 100%, but 200%".

Since "Yumi's Cells - Season 3" already had a strong fanbase from both the original work and the drama, many actors had been mentioned in online fan castings. Kim Jae-won-III commented, "There were so many incredible actors being mentioned. I was cast without really knowing about that situation".

He also shared, "I was familiar with the character Soon-rok from the original. My older sister really liked him". He laughed and added, "She jokingly said, 'You're playing Soon-rok?' That made me realize just how popular the character is".

As for his family's reaction, he said, "My sister said I did well. She's still a bit shy since we're family, but her praise made me happy".

He also talked about reactions from overseas fans. "I haven't had the chance to go abroad since the show aired, so I haven't experienced it in person, but I received a lot of messages in various languages through social media".

He continued, "Many people told me they love me, which made me feel proud, and it made me want to repay them with even better performances in the future".

In particular, he added, "After "Yumi's Cells - Season 3", my social media followers increased by about 200,000 to 300,000", highlighting the show's global popularity.
