"Ultimate Weapon Alice"

A trained killer disguised as a transfer student and a traumatised young man who feels nothing but pain team up against forces unknown to protect what's left of their humanity. Starring Park Se-wan and Song Geon-hee, this drama is packed with action, suspense and mystery.

"Salon De Nabi"

"Salon De Nabi" is definitely the sleeper hit of 2022. Starring Kim Hyang-gi, Choi Daniel, Park Jung-woo-V and more, this drama follows a young apprentice at a salon who learns how to overcome her extreme introversion and follow her dreams. Slice-of-life at its best, this drama will pleasantly surprise you.

"Bargain"

With how high-quality, complex and entertaining "Bargain" is, it is genuinely a surprise that it is rather underrated. With a stellar cast, including Jin Sun-kyu, Jeon Jong-seo, Chang Ryul and more, "Bargain" is a disaster thriller that takes place entirely inside a building where ransom exchange is taking place but things come to a head when an earthquake ruins it all. You do not want to miss this one.

"Mental Coach Jegal"

"Mental Coach Jegal" tells the story of a former national athlete who works as a mental coach, the eponymous Je Gal-gil, played by Jung Woo. His seemingly ordinary life is turned upside down when he is forced to face his inner wounds by a new client, Cha Ga-eul, played by Lee Yoo-mi. This drama is both wholesome and riveting, especially with the element of competitive sports and needless to say, it is totally worth the watch.

"New Recruit"

"New Recruit", adapted from the blockbuster hit animated series by Jangbbijju, is hugely popular among its established fanbase. However, to international viewers unfamiliar with the original source material, "New Recruit" wasn't too much of a roaring success. If you've been looking for a hidden gem of a K-Drama, this military slice-of-life comedy starring Kim Min-ho, Jeon Seung-hun and Nam Tae-woo-I is what you need.
