According to an industry insider on the 13th, Jang Gyuri has joined the upcoming series "Four Hands" as its lead actress. Four hands is a piano term referring to two people playing a single piano together. True to its name, the drama will depict the friendship, love, rivalry, and emotional growth of young artists who meet at an arts high school.

Jang Gyuri will play the role of Jae-in. Set against the backdrop of an arts high school, the story follows the main characters, played by Song Kang and Lee Jun-young, from their school days into adulthood as they grow into professional pianists. Jae-in, too, will grow alongside them, sharing in their journeys of youth and artistic ambition.

Since debuting as a member of fromis_9, Jang Gyuri has been building her acting career with roles in "It's Okay to Not Be Okay", "Cheer Up", "The Player 2: Master of Swindlers", and "When the Phone Rings". Her casting as the female lead in "Four Hands" is expected to mark a significant step forward in her career.

"Four Hands" is already gaining attention as the comeback project of Song Kang, one of the most recognizable visual stars among the MZ generation, following his military discharge. Having been a major driving force behind Netflix Korea's success, expectations for "Four Hands" are high, and many are curious whether Jang Gyuri will rise alongside him and contribute to another hit.
