Jang Jin-yeong's memorial hall, opens at her hometown on the 14th

Jang Jin-yeong's memorial hall has opened on the 14th.

An opening ceremony took place at Jeonbuk Ilsil, hometown of actress Jang Jin-yeong who passed away in September of 2009 with stomach cancer.

Her management revealed, "Jang Jin-yeong's father, Jang Gil-nam (76) established a scholarship foundation in February last year and started building the 'Jang Jin-yeong Memorial' and it is about to be completed".

The memorial has been put up in Jeonbuk Imsil-goon Woonam-myeon Gaeam Town, and the scholarship foundation has been named after the town. The foundation is being run on the 1.1 billion won private fortune of Jang Jin-yeong's father Jang Gil-nam.

The family carried out the opening ceremony with the members of her fan club and revealed the memorial. It holds the apparels and accessories the late Jang Jin-yeong used to wear and her treasures as well as her keepsakes.
