Jang Yoon-ju to debut in "Veteran"

Jang Yoon-ju making her debut as an actress by starring in the upcoming movie, "Veteran".

Model and entertainer Jang Yoon-ju plays the role of Miss Bong.

This is her first attempt at a movie and she plays the only woman on the investigative team and is a specialist in disguise. She's got a fiery temper and is tougher than any man. She's got the charisma to handle criminals anytime and anywhere.

Miss Bong is very much like Jang Yoon-ju who has always been carefree and bubbly all the time. She quarrels with detective Seo Do-cheol every now and then their teamwork shines whenever they get on a case.

Director Ryoo Seung-wan says, "Miss Bong has always been an appealing character. Jang Yoon-ju has what is takes to become her and although she's a top model, she does her best in everything and she has a lot of passion".

Jang Yoon-ju said, "I did feel pressure, but I managed to do it thanks to the people who believed in me. Miss Bong is very much like me so I wanted to make her stand out".

"Veteran" is a combination of veteran actors like Hwang Jung-min, Yoo Ah-in, Yoo Hae-jin, Oh Dal-soo and others. It is the story of an investigative team that goes after rich plutocrats. The movie is being released on the 5th of August.
