Jeong Jae-kwang Confirms Former Fireman Role in "It's Okay to Not Be Okay"

Actor Jeong Jae-kwang is starring in the new tvN drama as Joo Jeong-tae.

The new tvN drama "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" is a fantasy romantic drama about a psychiatric ward caregiver and an impulsive fairy tale writer suffering from antisocial personality disorder.
Jeong Jae-kwang takes on the role of Joo Jeong-tae, a former fireman who depends on alcohol, as he can't help but drink at the sight of fire and has to drink to be confident.
Jeong Jae-kwang said, "I received lifesaving training for the drama and I experienced the emotional burden or stress that firefighters will experience even only for a short time. Therefore, I think that's what allows me to understand Joo Jeong-tae even more. I hope this drama will provide a healing time for all of us who want to escape from the painful reality or fear".
Jeong Jae-kwang has started filming "Not Out" by director Lee Jung-gon as the main character, Shin Gwang-ho, who risks everything he has on baseball. He's also looking forward to the film "Pipeline".
"It's Okay to Not Be Okay" begins in June.
