The Seoul Central District Court's Civil Affairs Department 31 (Chief Judge Kim Sang-woo) ruled in favor of the plaintiff in a lawsuit filed by Victory Content against Key East on the 25th.

The court judged, "The defendant (Keyeast) should pay 1.42 billion won to the plaintiff (Victory Content)".

Earlier in March 2021, Ji Soo raised suspicions of school violence on the Internet, including online communities, and partially acknowledged it and dropped out of the drama "River Where the Moon Rises".

The drama was pre-produced and filmed up to 18 out of 20 episodes, and the broadcast was aired up to 6 episodes. Victory Content had to re-film and aired all episodes after replacing the actor with Na In-woo.

Since then, Victory Content has claimed 3 billion won to recover from the damage, claiming that it suffered direct losses from various staff expenses, venue and equipment usage fees, performance fees, and art expenses due to the re-shooting.
