Jo Bo-ah Having a Blast Working on New TV Series

Actress Jo Bo-ah is getting a special kick out of appearing in her upcoming drama slated for airing next month.

In cable channel tvN's new drama series "Tale of the Nine Tailed", Jo plays the role of a TV producer specializing in ghost stories who chases a nine-tailed fox that shows up in her town.

Jo, who loves thrillers and fantasies, said she could not put the script down once she started reading it, and raced through it as if it were a novel. "I was immediately attracted to my character in the drama, who is very proactive and straightforward. I'm also not timid at all, allowing me to do well [in the role] without huge difficulties", she said.

To prepare, Jo took action classes for the first time. "Doing action scenes is quite different to other types of acting. I'm really enjoying it".

On working with her co-star in the drama, Lee Dong-wook, she said, "He is so handsome -- it's surreal. He looks like someone from another planet, so I think he is a perfect fit for this fantasy series. I'm sure viewers will be hooked by his looks". She added, "Every scene is a thrill for me to work on. I hope viewers will feel energized after watching the drama".

The first episode of "Tale of the Nine Tailed" will air on Oct. 7.
