Hangyeorae News reported on the 5th After Forum that was held in the Korean Development Institute of Women's Rights on the 29th about the secondary damages being claimed after the suicide of actor Jo Min-ki.

According to the report, a woman called 'A' from the "Anti-Sexual Violence Group of Graduates from the Cheongju University". She claimed, "After Jo Mi-ki's death, his victims have become targets of criticism and profanity. They've even been threatened for their lives and getting messages to scare them".
"We asked the school for the truth and investigation, but the group of professors rejected us for the reasons of mental stability and internal atmosphere of the attending students".
"Making society safe from sexual harassment is something that the society should take responsibility, for but why do the victims have to get the finger?"
Meanwhile, Jo Min-ki was struck with rumors in Feburary that he had been sexually harassing a female student at the school where he taught as an associate professor. He was in denial, but changed his words when the victim showed herself. However, before he could be questioned, he took his own life on the 9th of March.
