JTBC stated on the 28th, "Shin Se-kyung, Yim Si-wan and Lee Bong-ryeon were in the same space as the staff who was tested positive for COVID-19 but they are alright. The other staff are currently waiting for results of the tests".
Previously, a member of staff from the set of "Run On" was tested positive for COVID-19 and all production came to a halt while people involved were put in isolation.
This is the second time "Run On" ceased productions for COVID-19 related issues. On the 20th last month, a member of staff came into contact with someone from another drama set who was suspected of being infected by COVID-19. When it turned out this staff hadn't been infected, productions resumed.
"Run On", which is scheduled to be introduced in the second half of this year, depicts a romance between a short-distance national track and field team and a foreign currency translator, featuring Choi Soo-young and Kang Tae-oh in addition to Yim Si-wan and Shin Se-kyung. The shooting continued until recently.
