"Longing for You" is a truth-tracking drama in which a detective who was chasing the real culprit of the murder faces the hidden secrets and desires of his family, and Jung Ga-hee plays the role of prosecutor Yang Hee-joo in the drama. Yang Hee-joo will appear as a junior prosecutor of the Central District Prosecutors' Office, who acts recklessly regardless of her surroundings. Go Yeong-joo (Kim Ji-eun) will provide the fun of the drama with a whimsical charm of saying what to say.
Jung Ga-hee debuted in 2010 with the musical "Grease" and appeared in a number of works such as the musical "March of Youth", "All Shook Up", "Evil Dead", "The Bridge of Madison County", "Bernarda Alba", "Meriselli", and "Understudy", showing a wide range of acting beyond the genre.
In particular, Jung Ga-hee, who received viewers' attention earlier this year for her role as Soo-mi, a weathercaster junior who encounters Park Yeon-jin (Lim Ji-yeon) in "The Glory", revealed her presence by playing the role of Lee Joo-yeong, the first victim of the Woojeong-ri serial murder in "My Perfect Stranger".
Jung Ga-hee's agency 51K said, "Jung Ga-hee's unique bouncy charm and unique acting will continue as a scene stealer, so please look forward to the drama "Longing for You" and actress Jung Ga-hee's affectionate request.
Meanwhile, "Longing for You" is scheduled to premiere at 9 PM on July 26th (Wednesday).
