According to MyDaily on July 7th, Jung Hae-in will star as the lead in the new tvN drama "Lucky Seoul".

Jung Hae-in will play Kwon I-an, the youngest-ever manager of a jjokbang (tiny-room) village who later becomes a luxury real estate agent serving VIP clients. True to his profession, I-an believes firmly in give-and-take relationships. He is calculating, shrewd, ambitious, and slightly cynical. As a high-end real estate agent, his pride ultimately comes from money, the amount he earns defines both his confidence and his reputation.

"Lucky Seoul" follows the story of the youngest operator of a jjokbang village as he pursues a landlord who orchestrated a massive jeonse rental fraud before vanishing without a trace. Reuniting with his childhood friends, he sets out to bring the culprit to justice in a refreshing revenge story that also serves as an allegory for the contradictions and tragedies of modern capitalist society.

Jung Hae-in is currently preparing for the release of the Netflix original series "Our Sticky Love" next month and is also set to begin filming director Kim Seok-yoon's "Love Virus". "Lucky Seoul" will follow those projects, with filming scheduled to begin early next year.

The drama is written by Park Joo-yun, known for "Black Dog", and directed by Jo Woong, whose previous works include "A Virtuous Business" and "Heroes Next Door". It will be produced by Studio Dragon.
