Jung Il-woo to Star in Thai TV Series

Jung Il-woo has become the first Korean actor to star in a Thai drama.

According to his management agency on Tuesday, Jeong left for Thailand on Sunday to shoot the drama. He plays the role of a PR manager at a large entertainment agency.
His challenge is drawing interest here amid increasing demand for Korean popular culture in East Asia including Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. Industry insiders see huge potential in the untapped markets.
Jeong is making the utmost effort to set a good example as the first Korean actor to make such a move, his agency said.
