Actress Jung Ryeo-won is returning with a new drama, "First Doctor".

According to a report by SPOTV News on the 2nd, Jung Ryeo-won will take on the lead role in the upcoming drama "First Doctor".
Over the years, Jung has portrayed a wide range of professional characters, including prosecutors, lawyers, and doctors, earning praise for her portrayals of confident and independent women. In particular, her return to a medical drama is drawing attention, as it marks her first in the genre since "Medical Top Team" in 2013.
Last year, she delivered a strong performance alongside Lee Jung-eun in the tightly constructed mystery thriller film "The Woman in the White Car".
Given that "First Doctor" is the project she carefully chose after tvN's "Graduation" in 2024, expectations are high for what new facets she will reveal through this role.
Meanwhile, "First Doctor" is currently in pre-production, including the casting process.
