tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama "Mental Coach Jegal" (directed by Son Jeong-hyeon, written by Kim Ban-di) is a mental care sports drama in which a former national athlete, returns as a mental coach, healing other athletes and fighting against injustice. Jung Woo, Lee Yoo-mi, Kwon Yul, and Park Se-young will star in it.
In the drama, Jung Woo plays Je Gal-gil, a mental coach from the Taekwondo national team. Je Gal-gil is a Taekwondo genius who was permanently expelled after an unprecedented accident that turned the athletes' village upside down, and he is reborn as a mental coach with his experience of overcoming trauma in the past and his indomitable mental strength in Taereung. There, he sees Cha Ga-eul (Lee Yoo-mi), who resembles him in the past, and faces his wounds and faces an inflection point in his life.
The main poster, released on the 11th, shows Je Gal-gil sitting on a barbed wire with various life signs.
