MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "My Dearest" (planned by Hong Seok-woo, directed by Kim Sung-yong, Jeon Soo-jin, and written by Hwang Jin-yeong) is a human history melodrama that deals with the love of lovers and the vitality of the people through the Manchu War.

In "My Dearest", Kang Gil-woo plays Jeong Myeong-soo, a Cheongui station officer who is good at maneuvering. Jeong Myeong-soo was born a humble slave, but he abandoned the Joseon, which did not treat him as a person, and took the lead in pressuring Joseon with the power of the Qing Dynasty. Kang Gil-woo's performance, which will firmly take root in the drama, is expected with his hard work, which has faithfully focused on showing unfamiliar impressions that have never been shown before.

"My Dearest" starring Kang Gil-woo, will premiere at 9:50 PM on August 4th.

Meanwhile, Kang Gil-woo appeared in JTBC's" Reborn Rich", Netflix's "The Glory", and SBS's "Revenant".
