The agency Major Nine said on the 26th, "Kim Dong-jun has confirmed his appearance in KBS1's new epic drama "Korea-Khitan War"".

"Korea-Khitan War" depicts the story of King Hyeonjong of Goryeo, who brought Goryeo together with the leadership of tolerance and led the war against the Khitan to victory, and General Gang Gam-chan, his political teacher and commander-in-chief of the Goryeo Army.

Kim Dong-jun plays the role of Hyeonjong, the eighth king of Goryeo and a monarch who greatly contributed to laying the foundation for the Goryeo Dynasty. Hyeonjong became an emperor at the age of 19 and suffered from the invasion of Khitan from the beginning of the throne, but he was a king who defeated the Khitan invasion and achieved the prosperity of Goryeo.
