Kim Gu-ra Divorces Wife After Debt Shock

Comedian Kim Gu-ra has divorced his wife after 18 years of marriage.

Kim (46) in a statement Tuesday said, "We decided to part ways after the mandatory cooling-off period. We argued a lot for two years and four months after our domestic issues emerged, and we concluded that it would be better if we put an end to it".

Last year, Kim confessed on TV that his wife had stood as a guarantor for her older sister for bad debts totaling W1.7 billion.

Kim added that despite the divorce he would work to pay off his ex-wife's debt. The couple's son will live with his father.
